Alerts and notifications in Dash are fed by the same alerts engine that generates alerts in the current portal.
The Alerts Dashboard is split into two distinct sections:
- Notifications: The items in this list don't require action, only acknowledgement.
- Alerts: These items require some action now or in the future. They may be currently impacting compliance or will turn into something that impacts compliance if not acted upon.
Each alert/notification has a standard slide-out with these parts:
- Move between alerts without closing the slide-out
- Standardized action sets with explanations to guide users on ways an alert can be resolved
- Descriptive titles and summaries to educate users on what an alert means
- Easy access to employee information should users want to contact or update employee information
Resolving an alert will make it disappear from the list instantly.
Notifications
Since notifications don't require any specific actions, they can be bulk dismissed.
