Alerts and notifications in Dash are powered by the same alerts engine used in the current portal, so you’ll see familiar information presented in a more streamlined, action-oriented experience.

Understanding the Alerts Dashboard
The Alerts Dashboard is your centralized view of everything that needs your attention. It’s designed to help you quickly answer two key questions:
Do I need to take action?
Is this impacting compliance now or later?
To make that easier, the dashboard is split into two categories:

| Notifications | Informational updates that don’t impact compliance | Review and dismiss when acknowledged |
| Alerts | Items that require action now or in the future | Open, review details, and take action |
Notifications
Notifications are informational only and do not require action. Because of this, they can be bulk dismissed once you’ve reviewed them.
Alerts
Alerts indicate something that either:
Is already impacting compliance, or
Will impact compliance if it’s not addressed by a certain date
These items are meant to guide you toward resolution before issues escalate.
What happens when you open an alert?
Clicking an alert opens a slide-out panel with everything you need to understand and resolve it—without losing your place.
Each alert slide-out includes:

Standardized action sets with clear explanations to guide you through resolution options, like running a query, uploading a file, or snoozing the alert for later: |

Once an alert is resolved, it disappears from the list immediately and moves to Completed Alerts, helping keep your dashboard focused only on what still needs attention.
