Documents and Driver Files in Dash

Try it in Navattic

Dash allows users to upload files for any employee, not just those who are in a Driver Qualification program. Uploading a form that goes into the Compliance File in CRM will automatically create a Compliance File record if one doesn't already exist.

  1. Use the Employees page or global search to find the employee
  2. Click on the employee to open the Employee Profile page
  3. Open the Documents tab
  4. Click on +Upload
  5. Select a document from the list that matches the document you intend to upload
    • The documents listed at the top are documents typically required for DOT-regulated drivers along with any consents required to perform screenings
    • If the customer has any custom documents, those will appear at the bottom of the list
    • If a blank template is available for the chosen document, a Download Template button will appear at the bottom
  6. Drag and Drop or browse for a file to upload
  7. Add any required meta data
  8. Select Upload Document

Custom Document Upload

Custom Documents in Dash ARE NOT backwards compatible with the current portal!

To get started with Custom Documents, start with the Document Settings on the account.

  1. Settings - Documents - Custom Documents
  2. Add a Document and choose configurable options
    • Expiration Date must be turned on to utilize custom document alerts
    • Templates will be made available on the upload prompt
  3. Once added, it will appear as an option when uploading documents on candidates and employees

Custom documents cannot be edited in Settings after they've been used.

Document Review

When uploaded documents go to DRS, we will let the user know with a toast card.

A persistent status will inform users that the document is in the DRS queue. Once accepted, it will change to active in Dash. If rejected, it will disappear and an alert will show.
